Nostrils: Limited to one piercing with a single metal stud, clear retainer, or flesh-toned retainer.
Allowed: Metal studs, clear retainers, flesh-toned retainers

🔹 No other visible piercings (facial or otherwise) are allowed.
🔹 Band-aids or coverings may not be used to hide piercings.
🔹 Team Members must comply with the local food code regarding nostril piercings.
Tattoos
Tattoos on the face or neck are not permitted.
Visible tattoos must be appropriate and must not include profanity, sexually explicit content, violent or vulgar imagery, racial or cultural insensitivity, or anything that could be considered offensive to other Team Members or Guests.
Tattoos that do not meet these standards must be fully covered using approved TeamStyle uniform items (such as a long-sleeved polo or performance sleeve) or waterproof makeup.
Non-Slip and Slip Resistant Shoes
Team Members must wear black socks and solid black, non-slip (slip-resistant) shoes.
You can find black non-slip shoes at several local retailers, including:
Walmart
DSW
Rack Room Shoes
Skechers Outlet at the West End Center (Chick-fil-A Team Members receive a 30% discount)
Slip-resistant shoes can also be ordered online at Shoes for Crews.
Belts
Belts often arrive a bit larger than needed, but they can easily be trimmed for a perfect fit. HERE is a quick video that shows you how to adjust your belt to the right size.
Headwrap
Here is a video tutorial on how to tie a head wrap for team members working in the kitchen.
Facial Hair
Acceptable cleanly shaven facial hair styles:
Short, neatly groomed mustaches.
Short, neatly groomed goatees with well-defined lines.
Short, neatly groomed beards with defined cheek and necklines.
Short is defined as hair up to 1/2" in length (#4 standard trimmer guard).
Neatly trimmed means there is a defined line where the hair ends. For example, with a beard, hair should end generally where the jawline meets the neck, above the Adam's apple.
Unacceptable facial hair styles include:
No undefined lines, shavings, carvings, designs, or extreme styles (no chinstraps, chops, handlebar, etc.)
Team Members should not work with unclean lines or patchy, inconsistent hair growth. While a Team Member is growing facial hair, the acceptable facial hair guidelines still must be followed.
