Hospitality Professional Expectations
Hospitality Professional (or HosPro) is a full-time team member who has a proven track record of excellence in hospitality and has open availability.
While there is some subjectivity in the above definition, here’s what we’re typically looking for in those who are HosPro or desiring that position:
Available six days a week during one of these 3 time slots: open-5pm, 11am-8pm, 2pm-close. There will be very few, if any, exceptions for this.
Available to work Saturdays within an employee’s typical daypart. For example, if someone normally work nights and that’s their category on the master schedule, they must still have availability to work nights on Saturdays. There may be opportunities to work during the day, however, we still need to ensure nights are covered first.
Regularly working full-time hours, i.e., 35 hours a week or more.
The intention of maintaining HosPro availability and hours worked for more than the short term. In other words, someone can’t become HosPro just for the summer or only during a single school semester.
Alignment with Mulkey Hospitality, Inc.’s vision and values.
The HosPro role comes with a higher wage rate, but with that comes extra responsibly.
